Audit & accounting

Independent audit and accounting support

All companies over a certain size have to go through the process of audit, by law. It can be a difficult time if you’re not properly prepared, causing stress and panic along the way. If your accounts aren’t in good order, then you’ll find yourself rushing around to meet a deadline that, had you received decent support, wouldn’t be a struggle.

We offer accounting services for limited companies, which includes the preparation of statutory annual accounts. They’ll always be delivered in a timely manner and ready to be audited where required.

Making sure your accounts are submitted within 9 months after the company’s financial year-end is an important step that we’ll make sure you achieve. If your business is new, you have a 21-month deadline after registering a company to file your first set of accounts with Companies House. We’ll take care of that, too.

Our audit service is designed to minimise any disruption at your site, while highlighting problem areas and potential places for growth.

Audit is designed to ensure that your accounts give a fair and balanced view of your financial situation. It also highlights what’s working for your business, and what isn’t. Audits are compulsory for larger businesses and charities, and require proper preparation to be successful. It’s wise as a smaller company or charity to go through a voluntary audit to get yourself prepared for the real thing and to give your potential lenders or investors reassurance.

If you have any special requirements, such as compliance with charity regulations or legal sector rules, then we’re happy to work around these to give you the support you need.
