Robert trained with Grant Thornton and having completed his training contract moved to a predecessor firm of Crouch Chapman. He qualified in 1986 and became a Partner of the firm in July 1990.
His clientele is mainly privately owned companies whose turnover ranges from several £1,000s to approaching £40 million and includes property companies, food wholesalers and new technology companies. He has also been involved in fund raising exercises for clients such as Grant applications, SEIS and EIS.
He has experience with non UK companies and frequently travels to Switzerland and Hong Kong on business. He has acted as independent expert witness in not only the UK Courts but also in Liechtenstein and the New York City Supreme Court.
