Logistics sector M&A Index 2025
With 12 months having passed since our last Logistics sector M&A index report it was time to repeat the project in order to gain a wider view of the logistics sector and its attitude to future M&A activity.
We have once again partnered with our friends at Logistics UK and researchers Analytiqa in order to conduct research across the Logistics Sector and take a view on the appetite for M&A activity as we progress through 2025.
It is important to note that in the past 12 months we have seen considerable shift in geopolitics, with the UK’s first change of governing party in 14 years. Added to this we have seen other political transitions or elections in many other major economies including the USA, France and Germany.
We also continue to see conflict in areas such as Ukraine and the evolving situation in the Middle East all of which impact upon supply chains and have a direct impact on UK logistics providers.
The outcome of the 2025 M&A Index report is, in general, one of optimism but it comes with a degree of caution with more respondents this year returning views and opions that rank in the middle ground.
We are delighted to offer you a free copy of the 2025 index in the form of an executive summary, which you can download below. If you would like a full copy of the report please contact us and a member of our logistics team will contact you.
